After Laughter debuts on the US charts

“After Laughter” has debuted on the US sales charts and is officially out of Top 3.

Paramore’s latest studio album, in its first release week, sold 54,720 physical copies and 11,264 in streaming. In total longplay debuts at #5 with 65,984 copies sold.

If you would like to compare the physical sales only – “After Laugher” is #4. First four on the best selling chart are the following: Harry Styles with 240,054, Zac Brown Band with 151,789, Kendrick Lamar with 114,629 and Christ Stapleton with 75,490 copies sold.

Paramore scores its third top 10 album, as its new studio effort After Laughter starts at No. 6 with 67,000 units (53,000 in traditional album sales). It’s the act’s first studio release since its 2013 self-titled set, which bowed at No. 1 with 106,000 copies sold in its first week. The band previously logged a top 10 with its 2009 album Brand New Eyes (debuting and peaking at No. 2).
