Hayley and Zac were supposed to announce Told You So as a second single from After Laughter being released in the U.K! Hayley did this later the same day, posting on Twitter. Hayley Williams and Zac Farro did an interview with Nick Grimshaw from BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show this morning. The guys are already back in the US and the interview via FaceTime was held at Zac’s house. Besides laughing, making jokes and simply having fun the band said they are making plans for coming back to the UK in the early 2018 for a second leg of the UK tour.
First half of 2017 is over, so it’s time for multiple half-year summaries, including sales charts.
Even though After Laughter isn’t listed among 20 top selling rock/alternative (or even pop if you wish) albums of 2017, it doesn’t mean the release isn’t doing good globally.
Spotify has just revealed a list of the top 20 rock acts in the world. The rank is based on the amount of streams artists have received.
Yesterday, on 14th of July Paramore played the final Tour One show in Europe. The band arrived to Tonsberg, Norway and played at the 2017 Slottsfjell Festival. Click HERE to see tour setlist, photos and watch live videos.
On 12th of July Paramore played in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was the final headliner show of Tour One and Paramore decided to make it a special one. The band presented the longest set of this tour, performing not only 26, which was performed for the first time on 7th of July in Sweden, but also add third cover to the setlist. Less than one month ago the organizers of the 2017 Teen Choice Awards announced the first wave of nominations for this year’s event. Now the second wave has been presented and Paramore scored a second nomination!
The band is nominated for Choice Rock Group and Choice Rock/Alternative Song for Hard Times. The band is against Imagine Dragons, Lorde, twenty one pilots, Linkin Park and Rag’n’Bone Man.
