2013/09/05 Amsterdam, Netherlands [REPORT]

The last time I saw them was on December 8, 2009. Paramore was at that moment still complete with the Farro brothers. Since then and now, things have changed and Paramore is now a band of three.

I had a Meet & Greet: I got a highfive from Taylor, Jeremy liked my Riot! bag they looked awesome and were really really nice. Made a little talk, got my album signed by the three and a couple of photos was made. One of the best moments in my life!

The support band was a Dutch band called Makebelieve which I have never heard of them until now. They played some great songs and the lead singer was a good stageman.

After a half hour they left the stage and Paramore got on stage at nine. The first song ‘Grow Up’ from the new album started with an extended intro, the whole room started singing along. Great light show with different colors, sometimes the light was a bit blinding.

After each song the lights dimmed and a new song got played. Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor owned the stage and moved around, Hayley as usual didn’t stay long at one place and did her thing from running around, dancing and even lying on the floor. Paramore played allot of songs from the new album, but they also played some old songs like Crushcrushcrush, That’s What You Get, Brick By Boring Brick and Decode. They had allot of songs which were full of energy and even some slow song. Two interludes where played so everyone could get some air to breath. At one point Jeremy flipped over Taylor and did a funny short dance.

During Misery Business a fan got up stage and got to sing the last part of the song. That felt a bit fake, because it looked like it was rehearsed. At one point Paramore ‘’left’’ the stage and the crowd started screaming and jelling. Eventually after a short time Paramore got back on stage played Part II, Movin’ On and Still Into You was the last song, almost at the end of the song cannons start shooting orange confetti.

This is my second Paramore show and it was an AWESOME one. The whole show felt like a Paramore show full with energy. Hayley did an awesome job with her powerfull voice and used the stage very good. Part II and Last Hope are my favorite songs and both got played. Taylor and Jeremy were great with their instruments as always. There were allot different songs, the setlist was big: 21 songs. Only the barriers around the stage were placed a bit weird. One of my best concerts EVER! 5 outta 5 stars.
