Paramore are talking about writing new material for the 5th studio album since the last October’s North American Self-Titled Tour. Recently, backstage at the iHeart Radio Festival in Las Vegas, Billboard talked to them about the progress of writing and sounds we can expect. What did they say?
“We’re in the dreaming-up stage, and figuring out kind of who we want to be next,” says Hayley Williams. “I think we’re getting there. We haven’t written anything that we’ve loved and thought, ‘This is it, this is the new direction,’ or where we want to be, or who we are. But it’ll happen. … I know we’re gonna make a great record when the time is right, but it just hasn’t been right yet.”
