First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart for Paramore?

Billboard is all ready to welcome Paramore at the top of Billboard 200 Chart. According to the latest article, new self-titled album should bow atop the list next week and may sell around 110,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on April 14! That would not be the best first week sell score for Paramore, while back in 2009 “brand new eyes,” debuted and peaked at No. 2 with 175,000 sold but if the band hits No. 1, it will mark the second chart-topper for the band’s label, Fueled by Ramen. The new chart’s top 10 will be revealed on the morning of April 17. Also, the new album is about to debut at No. 1 on the UK Chart.

The Guardian reviews ‘Paramore’

On the Guardian UK webpage, a review of the new self-titled album written by Phil Mongredien is being published. Mongredien, who hears the new sound of the album claims as well that new music sounds “like No Doubt shortly before Gwen Stefani outgrew them” and that Paramore’s record label might be willing to release Hayley’s solo album in the future. After all, “Paramore” was rated 3 stars out of 5. Good? Bad? Agree? Disagree?

The album was given… five stars and “Still Into You” was chosen to be one of the check outs of this record. “The band’s fourth album, a sprawling, 17-song, 64-minute monster that is without a doubt the finest music these three artists have ever made,” begins Scott. Later he continues writing: ‘“Ain’t It Fun” is a blast of new jack swing that carries with it a funky swagger never before heard on any Paramore album.’ The full review is pasted below.
