Hayley Williams wrote a short message on Paramore‘s official LiveJournal explaining her current health problems. Apologizing for the canceled show, Hayley shortly explains that the problems started from sore throat, to food poisoning and in the effect she got a virus. Now, Hayley is trying to fight the virus. On Tuesday afternoon Hayley Williams was spotted leaving a doctor’s office in Los Angeles. The Paramore lead singer needed consulatation as she got sick after the show in Phoenix. FOX News met up with Paramore to talk about the new, now #1 in the US, self-titled album. “We were forcing ourselves into a new territory because our old tricks weren’t working anymore,” says Hayley. “Anything we’ve evern been through as a band, as friends has all been purposeful because of this album,” she adds. Paramore also came back to explaining how it felt facing Josh and Zac Farro leaving the band. “The writing process wasn’t not easy, but when we put all the new songs together, it was all so worth it,” said Taylor. Having a difficult time believing the news, Paramore have the best-selling album in the US, Hayley Williams wrote an e-mail to MTV News about #1 debut of the self-titled. How is it to have no. 1 album in the country?
“This is one of those things that happens in the movies. I feel like we are living out some storyline that I have never imagined would be our own,” she wrote.
“For the three of us, it means we did something right! More than that, it means us and our fans gave grown up and we’ve done it together. Now only were weready for something different, but obviously they were ready for it too,” continues Hayley, who believes that this success is only thanks to Paramore fans:
“[Our fans' support] is truly the most humbling part of the whole deal. On release week, we got to hang with a lot of our long-time fans at Amoeba Records and at a couple different signings both in New York and LA. Some of those people were at some of our very first shows ever,” said Hayley.
