Fuse News has just made available a new, short interview, with Paramore recorded in New York City on 16th of May. In this conversation, the band talks about giving the new album a self-titled name, writers-block, song “Future,” Hayley Williams being sexy and Kelly Clarkson. “It is a first thing we felt comfortable attaching our name to. When people hear our name we want them to think about this record,” explains Taylor. “I just felt that I wasn’t expressing the things I needed to get out,” says Hayley. “I don’t think that I need to wake up in the morning and look sexy for people,” she explained. Jason from Radio 92.9 went backstage at the House of Blues to chat with Paramore before their sold out show on 15th of May. They talked about the new album, what keeps them going after all these years, why they love Boston and their favourite songs. “I really like “Ain’t It Fun.” We had an interesting time in the studio making it,” said Jeremy, while Hayley admitted she likes “Still Into You,” which she loves performing and Taylor loves “Future.” Check the video below!

Hayley, Taylor and Jeremy dropped by Canadian Much Music studios yesterday to discuss their new self-titled album which came out last month. The band discussed the revival of the punk rock/emo genre with the help of other bands such as Jimmy Eat World and Fall Out Boy who also have albums out this year. On Monday Paramore are playing a sold out show at the Sound Academy in Toronto, Canada. Just before the show, Much Music is going to interview the band on the New.Music.Live. “We’ll be talking to Hayley, Jeremy, and Taylor all about their new self-titled album.
