FOX News met up with Paramore to talk about the new, now #1 in the US, self-titled album. “We were forcing ourselves into a new territory because our old tricks weren’t working anymore,” says Hayley. “Anything we’ve evern been through as a band, as friends has all been purposeful because of this album,” she adds. Paramore also came back to explaining how it felt facing Josh and Zac Farro leaving the band. “The writing process wasn’t not easy, but when we put all the new songs together, it was all so worth it,” said Taylor. Before taking the stage at Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Hayley and Jeremy visited old good friends at Amoeba Records in West Hollywood. The band bought several albums, for instance Hayley decided to buy four copies of “Paramore.” “With Kevin and Stephanieeeeeeeee! Loved seeing them tonight!,” wrote Hayley. On Sunday, Paramore will return on the stage in Malaysia. Following this return, Juice Online has just posted a new interview with Jeremy Davis talking about inspirations for the forthcoming album, married life, the band’s direction after brand new eyes, and many more.
“This album definitely defines Paramore in a sense that it’s created by a bunch of best friends who want to be in a band together,” said Jeremy answering the question about giving the album name “Paramore.” Also, Jeremy admitted that the process of writing rock songs is very difficult without a drummer, “but we were lucky enough to have a guy named Ilan Rubin to play for us.” Wrapping up the interview, Davis said a few words to the fans from Malaysia: “We would like to thank everyone for being so supportive of Paramore and we really can’t wait to perform for you guys again.” The full interview is pasted below!
