For the couple of years rumors about Paramore being involved in Bayley’s, WWE Superstar, entrance at WrestleMania kept reappearing. Mainly because of Bayley’s openness about the love for band’s music and after she met Paramore backstage of the 2017 After Laughter show in New York City. Recently, talking to the Table Talk Podcast Bayley said was in talks with Hayley Williams to have her perform during her 2020 WrestleMania 36 event entrance. Due to the pandemic, the event was cancelled.
“I have mentioned it to the WWE music producer and we talked about it for last year but this was like in the beginning. I guess it would’ve been this year. The beginning of this year,” Bayley says. “So before the pandemic, before we knew that WrestleMania was gonna be in front of nobody and we were actually trying to figure out how to get that going and how to make it work. Like we were having phone calls about it, and then all this happened and we couldn’t do it.”
“I’m never gonna stop trying because that’s a dream moment for me and a dream WrestleMania moment for me so Hayley Williams, let’s do it, come on”, she said.
The 2021 event is set to happen on March 28 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Flordia. For now Bayley managed to get Hayley’s and Joey’s approval for using Simmer. In August, during the livestream on Instagram, the duo replied to the comment about it.
