Hours ahead of Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris release, Hayley Williams answered two questions about the song on Twitter. In the first one she talked working with Boygenius (Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers) on the backing vocals for the track, next one was about the music video for it. She also spoke about collaborations on her solo debut album, Petals for Armor.
“We got lucky and everyone was in town at the same time. They came in and tracked at the studio“ she said. “As of right now there is no official music video for the song – I have plans for one tho in the future,“ she answered being asked about the music video. “Zac directed a music video for a different song,“ she added. “Not anything I would call an official “collab“ and my process is so insulated – but there are a couple other tiny treats for music fans,“ Hayley said.
